Working for an established leader in the formwork industry, your ability to shrewdly

manage both hire and sales within a large volume branch will see you succeed in this

challenging role. The incumbent will be reporting to the General Manager of Formwork.

Managing the performance and growth of the Sydney Formwork business you will:

• Manage the overall performance of the business

• Develop and implement strategies to grow the formwork business (project complexity,

markets, etc)

• Use contracting processes to manage to projects to minimise opportunity for contact

leakage

• Project manage formwork projects to deliver in full, on time and to budget

• Manage branch compliance with statutory and corporate governance requirements (credit, reporting, cash, safety, inventory etc)

• Develop a productive industrial relations environment with high levels of employee engagement

• Drive business processes to achieve process excellence across all branch functions

Experienced in formwork or civil construction you will be able to demonstrate sound use of project management processes across projects with varying degrees of complexity. Your experience will include customer management, contract negotiation and managing a team of staff from sales to yard.

Project, risk and people management skills are essential skills for this role.
