QGC is a leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer. Manager – Water Delivery
This is an outstanding chance to deliver our Water Management Plan. Use your experience and
infl uence to manage the implementation of water handling facilities, including desalination plants and other water infrastructure, with a focus on benefi cial re-use of the water.
Reporting to the General Manager Water, you will lead the Water Delivery Team in design, FEED and construction processes, contract management, project management and controls, project execution plans and HSSE. Your role will also include the development of core water-related technical capabilities.
A background in the delivery of large-scale water capital projects is essential, along with appropriate engineering ????? ????? and HSSE experience.
Your natural leadership abilities will be invaluable as you guide your team to achieve targets and substantial growth. Strong communication skills are a must – frequent liaison with senior internal and external stakeholders is an important function of the role.
Senior Project Manager –
Water Infrastructure
You will work on a large-scale capital water project, ensuring ????? ????? of water treatment plants in line with our Project Execution Plan. You will have full responsibility for the project management and construction of water handling facilities, including desalination plants, associated pipelines, blending facilities, pre-fi ltration and brine handling.
Reporting to the Manager - Water Delivery, you will prepare detailed project implementation plans, including cost estimates and facility designs. You will also be accountable for ensuring ????? ?????, risk management and quality assurance requirements are in place.
Engineering ????? ????? and water industry experience, particularly in the delivery of water capital projects, is essential. Your entrepreneurial leadership style will see you work creatively and collaboratively with your management colleagues and develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Manager – Water Engineering
This role offers an opportunity to exert signifi cant infl uence on infrastructure requirements for our Water Management Plan. You will assume responsibility for the engineering ????? ?????, including desalination plants, pipelines, water injection and other water infrastructure, with a focus on benefi cial re-use implementation and trial programs.
Leading a team of engineers, you will develop project execution plans, including design and costing, for water treatment facilities, pipelines and systems. You will be accountable for ensuring ????? ????? systems are in place, managing risk and meeting quality assurance requirements.
Relevant qualifi cations and water industry experience, particularly in the engineering ????? ????? water projects, is essential. You must be able to interact at a senior level with a range of internal and external stakeholders. An outcomes-focused leadership style and demonstrated experience in project management and delivery will be necessary as you lead your team to deliver against targets and achieve substantial growth.
Water Planning and
Optimisation Modeller
You will provide water modelling and analysis to help determine the best options for management of the associated water created by our operations. You will develop modelling and forecasting tools to assist in optimisation planning for commercial water sales, assist with impact assessment for water infrastructure and extraction, and offer input into the development of groundwater modelling.
Your analysis and subsequent recommendations will have a substantial impact on our water production and supply methodologies.
Hydraulic or environmental engineering ????? ?????, particularly in water quality and quantity analysis, will be key to your success. You must have tertiary qualifi cations in engineering ????? ?????. Your knowledge of ground-water and surface-water modelling and the management of mine-site or industrial wastewater will also be important.
