    Based in Sydney, the client is Australia's industry leader in the design and development of optoelectronics used in the area photonics and photovoltaics. Using unique design processes, the client has created a niche for themselves in the manufacturing ????? ?????, photovoltaic devices and light emitting diodes for the Photovoltaic industry.

     

    Due to an excitng product development phase, the client currently requires a photovoltaic device engineer to participate in the design of architectures for advanced optoelectronic devices to be used in next generation solar cells and Photovoltaic applications. Utlising the latest in quantum physics and statistical mechanics, this is a rare opportunity to develop your career in the rapidly growing clean energy field.

     

    To be successful in this role, Photovoltaic Device Engineers must safisty the following:

     

    • Strong understanidng of semiconductor optoelectronic devices including photodiodes, light emitting diodes and photovoltaic devices
    • Hot carrier effects (n-channel and p-channel HCI)
    • Device performance chacterization and analysis in I-V, C-V

     

    Apart from semiconductor and optoelectronics architecture design, other responsibilities will focus on the following areas:

     

    • Failure analysis
    • Investigate and present feasibility reports on various manufacturing ????? ?????
    • Design testing processes for prototype and experimental devices


    EDUCATION

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    Knowledge and skills typically acquired by a completed BS degree in electrical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering ????? ????? field of studies and 2+ years directly related experience, or equivalent.

    PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

    PhD in Engineering ????? ????? degree in electrical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering ????? ????? field of studies, and 2+ years directly related experience preferred, or equivalent.
