The Company:
This international leader is in the development, manufacture and supply of a range of specialty food ingredients. The local operation forms part of the Asia Pacific regional division and is well a established supplier to food manufacturers in ANZ.
Your New Job:
This vacancy results from an internal promotion and reports to the Regional Director of Technology. The position has responsibility for providing technical support to customers and Account Managers within the region. Some specific duties will include:
- Development and maintenance of an intimate knowledge of the company’s products, applications and performance.
- Providing customers with recommended products and processes for their applications.
- Maintenance of product technical data base and documentation.
- Development of a detailed knowledge of competitive products and technologies.
- Technical presentations to customers and sales team
- Building strong and effective relationships both internally and externally.
- Supervision, guidance and mentoring ????? ????? small local support team.
The Ideal Person we are looking for:
A Food science or related Degree is essential and candidates must have at least several years’ experience in food product development areas, especially in dairy, bakery and similar consumer foods. Specific experience in the development and application of texture ingredients will be a distinct advantage. You will be outgoing by nature; comfortable presenting to groups and enjoy working as part of a multi-functional, international team. Your superior communication skills will compliment your attention to detail while being able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
