State Produce Buyer

Due to our on going growth an exciting new role has now become available for an experienced commercially savvy and highly motivated State Produce Buyer. Reporting to the State Manager Produce, you will be responsible for developing, negotiating and implementing state based purchasing for defined categoreis and banner groups. additionally you will build strong relationships with retailers and suppliers to establish a competitive offer and sustain loyalty to the retail offer.

In order to succeed, you will possess extensive experience in a similar role and have a solid understanding of the key drivers of the Produce Buying role. Your strong negotiation and influencing skills combined with your strong customer service skills are also vital requirements for this role. Ideally you would have experience working in a franchise/multi-stores.
