The Commercial Partnerships Department, Sydney Opera House is seeking a Retail Account Executive to join our team at this iconic Sydney Harbour side location.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Commercial Precinct Manager, the purpose of this position is to provide sound operational advice and support to facilitate commercial operations, to meet contractual obligations and achieve SOH business objectives. To ensure effective operations, related reporting systems and processes are in place to support the management of contractual agreements and analysis of the business.
To foster positive working relationships (internally and externally) that supports success in achieving business objectives. To ensure effective decision making for the Commercial Manager and Commercial Precinct Manager through the provision of information, options and recommendations (including consideration of implications), reports and analysis.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
1. Demonstrated understanding of, and experience in managing multiple commercial relationships is essential.
2. Experience in and understanding of contractual and business principles and acumen is essential.
3. Previous experience in retail, food & beverage, merchandising or related industries with a proven understanding of and commitment to customer service.
4. Business interest and ability to work and achieve outcomes in a complex and challenging environment.
5. High level of personal motivation and initiative, and clear results orientation along with strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
6. Sound administrative, financial and analytical ability as well as excellent written skills with experience in the operations of Microsoft Word, Outlook and particularly Excel
7. Experience in the development and preparation of reports for Manager level.
8. University degree in business or relevant discipline is preferred.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:
Job Status: Temporary (12 Month Contract), Full Time
Position No: SOH122
Salary Package: Base Salary of $64,999
Salary Notes: This position is covered by the SOH Enterprise Agreement 2006
