This highly successful ASX listed company offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic and highly respected communications team to proactively protect and enhance this organisation’s reputation.
Reporting to the Communications Manager you will develop and implement proactive media programs to support the business’ objectives, increase stakeholder understanding of its products and services, and maintain its brand reputation nationally. Experience in devising media materials, key messages, Q&As and briefing spokespeople will be key to this role. You will be required to respond to media interest/requests in a timely manner and advise the business on reputation impacts of business decisions as required.
To be successful in this role you will have strong experience across TV, major radio stations and metropolitan and regional newspapers. You will be proactive, tenacious and have a strong background in media relations in a public relations consultancy or in-house positions. You will have superior written and verbal communication skills, be a strategic thinker and be able to respond to short deadlines and operate effectively in an unstructured work environment.
