The Graham (Polly) Farmer Foundation is a non-for-profit organisation working in partnership with community, industry
and government to assist Indigenous students reach their potential. The Foundation requires a:
Program Coordinator
for the Muswellbrook Partnerships for Success
Based in Muswellbrook, the Program Coordinator works in conjunction with the NSW Department of Education and Training and the private partners and is responsible for
managing, coordinating and reporting on the Partnerships for Success Program designed to target high ability secondary
Indigenous students and provide a supportive environment enabling them to aspire to vocational and university education.
The position develops strong collaborative relationships across schools, families and community organisations, implements
individual student support and development programs, and reports to the Foundation and the Partnership Steering
Committee.
The occupant of the position requires strong project
management and leadership skills, an ability to engage with Indigenous communities and individuals, and a demonstrated
ability in the use of varying assessment methods to report on student learning outcomes. An understanding of current issues
and approaches in Indigenous educational initiatives is essential. Applicants must possess a current teaching
qualification and provide proof of their eligibility to teach with the NSW Department of Education and Training.

The appointment is for a fixed term of three years, with salary
and conditions aligned to that of a Head Teacher/District Guidance Officer with the NSW Department of Education and
