The Sax Institute's aim is to improve health, health services & programs by increasing the use of research in policy making. We are an independent not for profit organisation that provides a bridge between researchers, policy makers, health
services & funding partners involved in health research.

The Sax Institute has been contracted by the NSW Department
of Health to develop & implement a grant program to support the implementation & evaluation of demonstration projects
that aim to prevent injury among Aboriginal people in NSW.

The Project Coordinator will oversee all aspects of the
development of the grant program including research, design, management, administration and reporting. You will have
experience in project management, excellent interpersonal skills & sound knowledge of research & evaluation methods in
the context of public health, health policy or a related field. In addition you will have an interest in Aboriginal health & an
awareness & sensitivity regarding cultural considerations.

Applicants must be available for an ASAP start. The position is
4 days per week fixed-term until December 2010. The salary package will be negotiated dependent on the skills & exp. of the
successful applicant. The Sax Institute is a Fringe Benefit Tax Exempt Employer & offers salary packaging.
