Fairfax Digital is the online and mobile arm of Fairfax and operates commercial web sites for news and information (including smh.com.au, theage.com.au, brisbanetimes.com.au, WAToday and thevine.com.au) as well as transaction sites (including RSVP.com.au, mycareer.com.au and trademe.co.nz).
Working within the Transactions business unit you will be responsible for Product Management and delivery of Product Developments for RSVP.mycareer.com.au and mycareer.com.au (a new online dating website) from RSVP.mycareer.com.au to increase customer satisfaction and retention.
This role encompasses managing the whole product lifecycle from product strategy, market analysis and customer research, pricing, requirements gathering ????? ????? launch.
To be successful in this role, a Bachelors degree in business, marketing or equivalent is required coupled with a minimum of 2 years Internet experience in product management or product development. You will have developed and implemented successful product enhancements for growth, and have a good understanding of market research, web analytics and experience in user-centric product development and design.
You will be able to build strong relationships with cross functional stakeholders and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will also have the ability to show initiative, have ideas and take ownership of a product revenue line.
Reporting to the RSVP Senior Product Manager this is the ideal role for someone who is interested in progressing their career in online product development and who has a keen interest in Product Management.
