Marketing Executive, Consumer Acquisition

12 month contract

 Fairfax Media, Australia's leading media company in print and online, is seeking to employ a high performing self-motivated individual to the 12 month contract position of Marketing Executive, Consumer Acquisition, within the Subscriptions and Education Marketing team for Herald Publications.

This role is responsible for end to end campaign management, delivering ????? ????? to The Sydney Morning Herald and The Sun-Herald.  Key channels managed include direct mail, online, press and other above-the-line media.

The Executive will use analytical skills to fully understand the market and opportunities, learn more about the audience, understand more about existing subscribers, and ultimately identify and execute cost-effective acquisition programs.

This position requires a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, a well developed knowledge of direct response marketing, solid relationship management skills, multi-tasking skills and strong campaign management experience.  

This is an ideal role for a junior marketing executive with at least 2 years marketing experience, preferably within a direct marketing environment. A degree in business, marketing or a related discipline is essential, as is an energetic and positive approach to work.
