Fairfax Media, Australia’s leading media company in print and online, is seeking to employ a professional, enthusiastic and experienced Account/ Wholesale Operations Co-ordinator within its Marketing and Newspaper Sales Department. This position is a full-time role for a temporary period as a maternity leave replacement.
Based in Pyrmont, your key responsibility will be to co-ordinate all wholesale activities to ensure maximisation of sales and high level of customer service as part of the Newsagency Contracts / Network Development team. In particular, you will be responsible for:
· Weekly reporting of Wholesale Operations/Accounts
· Preparation, issuing and maintenance of accounts
· Processing of account payments
· Liaising with and visiting wholesale contractor and sub-agents on a regular basis
· Monitoring ????? ?????
· Updating and maintaining historical data
This role also includes an administrative function in relation to the processing of newsagency sales and associated office duties. On the job training will be available and a company vehicle is provided.
Ideally, you will have had experience in a busy office environment and will pride yourself on attention to detail and accuracy. Advanced Word skills and intermediate Excel skills are essential. You will be self-motivated and conscientious with the ability to prioritise and work unsupervised.
As this position will include a customer/client service component, a professional telephone manner is essential and experience in customer service or a similar environment would therefore be highly regarded.
