Marketing Coordinator

 



The Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS) is dedicated to the distribution of financial services via financial advisers, boutique institutions and directly to individuals. The Group offers wealth-creation solutions including cash management, full service stockbroking, financial planning, private banking and structured products and alternate investment opportunities. The Macquarie Global Investments (MGI) team develops and manages innovative, specialist investment products for distribution to a broad range of retail and institutional investors globally.

The marketing team within MGI are seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to support the marketing team in building and executing a range of campaigns across the full suite of investment products and channels both in Australia and abroad.

Working in a small team you will have an opportunity to support end to end planning and delivery of global marketing campaigns. As the Marketing Coordinator you will implement aspects of online and offline marketing and promotional campaigns, as well as manage all aspects of collateral development. You will also measure, track and report on the results of marketing activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing internal stakeholders and collateral sign off requirements
  • Assisting in the production of written campaign plans with clear and measurable objectives
  • Developing creative briefs, product collateral, copy writing and communication materials
  • Delivering ????? ????? budget and to agreed time frames
  • Managing external web presence for all products
  • Manage relationships with suppliers
  • Working with Product Managers to deliver ongoing client communications associated with products
  • Continuously researching competitor analysis, market trends and opportunities

Key skills and attributes:

  • Good communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) to liaise in a professional manner with stakeholders, clients and suppliers.
  • Tertiary and/or professional qualifications in marketing essential. A background in financial services marketing is highly desirable
  • Good working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office products such as MS Word, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint. Indesign experience valued yet not essential
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Understanding of corporate sign off processes and managing stakeholder engagement on projects

To succeed in this position you will be a motivated self starter, who is confident working in a fast paced environment and managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.  Background in financial services marketing is preferable.
