Product Marketing Manager

 



The Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS) is dedicated to the distribution of financial services via financial advisers, boutique institutions and directly to individuals. The Group offers wealth-creation solutions including cash management, full service stockbroking, financial planning, private banking and structured products and alternate investment opportunities. The Macquarie Global Investments (MGI) team, a division of BFS, develops and manages innovative, specialist investment products for distribution to a broad range of retail and institutional investors globally.

Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of innovative and consistent marketing campaigns across our investment/funds management products. Working in our newly designed Shelley Street office in Sydney, you will be responsible for:

  • End to end responsibility for investment management marketing from strategy development to execution of campaigns and reporting
  • Develop and execute tactical marketing programs and campaign schedules
  • Oversee the production of all investment management marketing material
  • Develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor the investment market and impact on the business’s FUM so to produce commentary for a range of audiences
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and thought leadership to engage internal and external clients
  • Competitor analysis.

In order to be successful in your application, you will have:

  • A foundation of experience in a mid-level marketing role within financial services, ideally dealing within the intermediary/B2B channel;
  • Ability to build strong and innovate marketing strategies
  • An absolute track record of delivery - under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to understand investment portfolio construction and philosophy is essential to effectively tailor communications to the appropriate audience
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Sound working understanding of corporate sign off processes and managing stakeholder engagement on projects
  • Adept experience in communicating a single and consistent message in a variety of different ways, adapting to different writing styles
  • Team player attitude and will thrive in a high delivery and performance environment
  • Tertiary education in marketing
