Role outline:
Combines strong analytical skills with creative marketing flair, so the client’s audience is reached. As a marketing executive you will have complete bottom-line responsibilities for creating marketing plans that combine direct mail, internet, email, faxand intergrated marketing.
Main duties:
- Creating up to 3 innovative marketing plans utilizing direct mail, Internet, e-mail, fax per month
- Forging strategic marketing partnerships with associations, publications and research organizations
- Complete profit analysis for all marketing plans, Conducting list research and selection
- Querying of internal databases and database build
- Writing copy for marketing letters and promotional materials
- Perform detailed response analysis, Creating and managing marketing budgets
- Working closely with other internal departments such as telesales, sponsorship sales, customer service and conference production
- Working with list brokers, DP houses, printers, mail houses and other vendors
Behaviours and Skills Required:
- Degree, ideally with commercial direct marketing experience
- At least one years experience in a marketing role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good and active listener
- Commercial experience
- Strong time management skills - able to work to tight deadlines
- Creative problem solving skills, Attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a creative flair, trouble-shoot problems, initiative
- High degree of interest in current business issues and industry trends
