    Our client, a global corporation, is a manufacturer of premium construction products, specialising in PVC piping and associated products. As part of their regional expansion plans, they now seek to appoint a suitably qualified National Product Manager.

    You will be responsible for driving the implementation of sales and marketing strategies for the Building Technology business across the ANZ region. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director - Construction, some of your core responsibilities will be to assist development and cultivation of key accounts in ANZ, analyse and improve distribution and pricing strategies, policies & agreements, evaluate local product suitability and market acceptance, Identify new business opportunities across the region; analysis and investigation of market trends and competitor activities to maximise business opportunities, Initiate marketing events/activities to promote product branding, conduct training for sales and office staff as well as customers relating to general product knowledge, product systems and marketing, regular reporting of sales figures, business profitability & trends to the Management, etc..

    To be considered for this opportunity, you will have at least 5 years experience in product management, preferably with an industrial multi national, be tertiary qualified in a relevant field (degree in engineering and/or business/marketing), have knowledge, contacts and experience in the construction market (preferably building technology-plumbing), experience in managing a three-tier channel to market (manufacturer-distributor-installer) structure, be a skilled negotiator with sharp business acumen and good attention to details, self driven, pro-active, with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

    In return, you will be rewarded with an excellent package, including a base salary of $90,000 - $100,000, super, and a car allowance ($17K).
