Marketing Manager - Cards
The Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS) is the primary relationship manager for Macquarie’s retail client base with operations in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America and Europe.
Macquarie’s Direct, a division of BFS, provides services to self directed investors seeking investment and wealth protection solutions including Superannuation, Managed funds, Cash management, Alternative investments, Initial Public Offer’s (IPO’s), online trading and insurance solutions. Due to continued growth we are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Macquarie Direct division.
In this role your primary focus will be the complete execution of marketing campaigns across all direct marketing channels for the Macquarie’s credit card portfolio. This role will have responsibility of implementing end to end acquisition and portfolio campaigns for the cards business. Campaign activity will relate specifically to new cardholder acquisition (from both cross selling to existing Macquarie customers and new to bank customers).
Key responsibilities will include:
- Driving and co-ordinating the implementation of marketing campaigns across allocated segments - this includes a focus on acquisition marketing campaigns
- Effectively managing campaigns ensuring ????? ????? allocation and activities delivered on time
- Oversee the management of the development process including briefs, communications, ensuring ????? ????? allocation, ensuring ????? ?????
- Managing effective relationships and arrangements with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Contact Centre, mail houses, printers, web developers, product partners)
- Completing vendor briefs including creative briefs, print briefs, list processing, data processing, and mail house briefs
- Driving the regular, proactive performance management of the agencies to ensure ‘best in class’ working relationship and effective results
- Working closely with the Analytics team to effectively implement direct response tracking on all direct mail channels
- Develop and identify acquisition channels
- Delivering ????? ????? analysis and reports in accordance with agreed success criteria
- Developing ongoing competitor analysis (including insights and activities) and research into our client, database and segmentation
- Developing a full understanding of current system constraints and opportunities to improve procedures, systems and protocols
- Ensuring ????? ????? is correctly and consistently represented through the marketing communications.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- relevant tertiary qualifications (i.e. marketing, business, commerce);
- an ADMA certificate (desirable)
- experience in a similar level marketing role, ideally within Credit Cards, retail banking, finance or insurance
- strong direct and online marketing skills
- proven ability in managing suppliers effectively to ensure performance
- strong end to end project management, planning and organisational skills
- the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- exceptional written communication skills and attention to detail
- strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to all levels
