Marketing Assistant - Cards

 



The Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS) is the primary relationship manager for Macquarie's retail client base with operations in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America and Europe.

Macquarie Direct, a division of BFS, provides services to self directed investors seeking investment and wealth protection solutions including Superannuation, Managed funds, Cash management, Alternative investments, Initial Public Offer's (IPO's), online trading and insurance solutions. Due to continued growth we are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join the Macquarie Direct Marketing team.

In this role you will assist in the execution of portfolio campaigns for a range of Credit Card products. This will include executing of a variety of DM and eDM campaigns, managing creative approvals and coordinating campaign set-ups.

More specifically your role will include the following:

  • Managing effective relationships and arrangements with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Effectively managing campaigns: budget allocation, completing briefs, timely activity delivery;
  • Working closely with Analytics to effectively implement direct response tracking on all direct mail channels;
  • Delivering ????? ????? analysis and reports and developing ongoing competitor analysis and research;
  • Developing a full understanding of current system constraints and identifying opportunities for improvements;
  • Ensuring ????? ????? is correctly and consistently represented through the marketing communications.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

  • relevant tertiary qualifications (i.e. marketing, business, commerce);
  • an ADMA certificate (desirable);
  • experience in a corporate environment, ideally within Credit Cards, retail banking, finance or insurance;
  • the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines;
  • exceptional written communication skills and attention to detail;
  • an ability to build ongoing strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • sound analytical, process and problem solving skills;
  • a flexible and results driven approach and thrive is a fast paced and creative environment.
