Major transformation project

We are looking for a forward thinking Procurement Manager for a major, ongoing transformation project. You will immediately be responsible for maintaining a procurement centre of excellence and will set strategic sourcing direction to reinforce procurement strategies that effectively address all procurement issues relating to areas within Engineering, Maintenance and Working Capital.

You will be tasked with monitoring ????? ?????; requirements and strategies for current and future business needs and develop sustainable relationships with suppliers and internal customers.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills;-

• Extensive end to end Procurement experience with subject matter expertise in Engineering, Maintenance and Working Capital.
• Excellent Strategic Sourcing skills with above average negotiation skills
• Strategic mind-set with strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Proven ability in Project management and Change management ideally from a commercial environment.
• Ability to establish, implement and monitor SRM frameworks
• Extensive hands on experience of the RFT/ RFQ process
• High level written and verbal communication and presentation skills and demonstrated success at building relationships with key people
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team
• Tertiary and/or other relevant post-graduate qualifications or extensive practical experience
• Candidates working towards CIPSA qualification will be highly regarded
