Our client is an established forwarder with offices located in various locations around the world. Specialising in offering their clients a complete logistics solution and exceptional personalised customer service, they are in the process of looking for an experienced customer service representative with sound knowledge of the freight forwarding industry to join their Sydney team.
Working as part of a successful team, you will be responsible for assisting clients with issues and providing the highest level of service to ensure all problems are addressed in a timely manner. You will facilitate the communication between the customer and relevant departments and ensure that procedures are adhered to in relation to client requirements.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager the successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years experience in a local freight forwarder, have a passion for dealing with people, a pro active and 'can do' attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will also have a stable employment history with unparalleled organisational skills.
