The Role
Your key objective is to achieve revenue targets for a business unit which focuses on express freight, via a combination of new business and account management initiatives targeting medium to large companies. You will achieve this via hands on training, coaching and mentoring ????? ????? team toward revenue targets, including the development and implementation of sales strategies and supporting the sales representatives on client visits to help close the deal.
The Person
You are an astute and energetic sales person with a proven track record in the freight transport industry who is looking to take the next step. Your relationship building skills need to be exceptional since you will need to align yourself with numerous stakeholders across the business to gain insight into commercial opportunities both yourself and the sales team are sourcing. The successful candidate will be results oriented, people focused and 'hands on' - with a style and approach that facilitates a methodical, professional approach in everything you do, particularly setting the example !
