Logistics Manager - ASAP Start

 

My client is a well know Telecommunications company based in Sydney. They need an experienced Logistics Coordinator ASAP. Responsible for logistics related tasks in the customer team for complete customer delivery (Global/local materials and services and executing the timely flow of demand planning, ordering ????? ?????) This is a 2 month contract which could possibly be extended.  
Your role will be to:  

• create configuration in system  
  
• operative site creation and creation of drop of points in system  
  
• sales order creation (entering ????? ?????, sw & service items into SAP)  
  
• (technical) order clarification and availability check (if needed)  
  
• placing purchase order for external service resources and material in SAP  
  
• completing purchase order for internal service resources in SAP  
  
• goods receipt at drop off point  
  
• logistics management of material from drop off point to customer site (incl. transport, customs clearance & warehousing)  
  
• entering ????? ????? for invoices to customer and revenue recognition  
  
• monitoring & controlling status of the orders  
  
• Creation of customer invoices at project milestone completion  
  
• Interface towards the DMC  
  

To apply you must have the following:  

• a minimum of one year logistics coordination  
  
• strong SAP skills  
  
• telecommunications experience (preferred)  
  
• good written and verbal communications skills  
  
• good customer service skills  
  
• basic finance knowledge
