Purchasing Officer / Stock Controller

  • We are a dynamic company that continues to be a leader in the bathroom and kitchen ware industry with a convenient inner West location. 
     
    This role will not only utilise you purchasing and stock control skills but it will also incorporate customer / Supplier liaison, interdivisional dealings and negotiations and reporting on stock levels and lead times

    You will:

    -Manage warehouse inventory levels to minimise the cost of inventory required, whilst meeting agreed service levels for customers
    -Play a part in the continuos improvement of the total customers offer in order to maximise business performance in terms of financial indicators and customer satisfaction
    -Communicate on new and deleted lines and overstock/out-of-stock issues
    -Have very good investigative and problem solving skills
    -Address Client and Customer queries
    -Have experience in running daily Stock takes/ Cycle Counts
    -Have experience in Warehouse stock control
    -Be able to analyse and report on inventory matter 
     
    This role does not involve physical handling of inventory but the efficient use of Quikbook.Any Quikbooks or high turnover inventory experience advantagous but not essential.
