COMMON LAW PARALEGAL Plaintiff Personal Injury

  • This large and very successful firm in West – Southwest Sydney requires seeks the services of an energetic, organised Paralegal with 3 years’ experience to support the Personal Injury Common Law claims team.

    Ideally you have Senior Secretarial/Paralegal experience covering ????? ????? accident claims, with additional exposure to related personal injury areas including public liability, professional indemnity and medical negligence. Your experience includes the preparation of court documents and legal letters required to progress motor accident, work injury, slip and fall and medical negligence claims through commissions, and the District and Supreme Courts.
     
    You can demonstrate strong skills in:
    • Dealing with clients, insurance company representatives, defendant legal representatives, barristers and Motor Accident Authority staff;
    • Managing a large file load efficiently and to deadlines;
    • Managing a high volume of client contact, proactively, openly and with empathy;
    • Progressing matters within authority limits and to timetables set by partners, solicitors and barristers, and referring ????? ????? problems promptly;
    • Maintaining an up to date, in depth knowledge the operations and procedures of the Medical Assessment Service (MAS) and the Claims Assessment and Resolution Service (CARS).
