As a key team in ASIC's regulation of the Australian financial market, the Exchange Market Operators Team deal regularly with the ASX, OTC market operators, the Australian Treasury and the Reserve Bank. Accuracy and integrity are the core attributes of this team, as they assess the compliance by licensed markets with the Corporations Act and shape regulatory change for the Australian financial markets.

If you have an advanced knowledge of capital markets and the financial economy and ability to provide effective legal advice on complex issues relating to the conduct and regulation of operators of financial markets, then you may be interested in the opportunity to:

• Lead projects including applications, assessments and rule amendments relating to market operators and clearing ????? ????? facilities.
• Provide high level advice and assessment of complex markets matters, providing possible approaches or solutions to issues detected by ASIC.
• Develop and maintain key internal and external relationships with stakeholders and market operators.
