Our client is noted for employing over 150 people, over 75 Lawyers , all dedicated to advising growing corporations: public companies, subsidiaries of multinationals, privately owned businesses and local authorities.
At present, the firm is looking to appoint an experienced Employment Law Partner to their thriving Sydney practice.
As a Partner to the firms busy employment and industrial relations practice, the successful candidate will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in continuing the growth and success of the practice. Leading a bright group of talented professionals, this role will see you servicing a large clientele on matters pertaining to:
- Workplace agreements and workplace change
- Employee, independent contractor and consultancy contracts
- Prevention and management of industrial relations disputes
- Unfair, unjust or harsh dismissal claims
- Restructuring and redundancies
- OH&S and WorkCover issues
- Confidentiality and restraints of trade
- Discrimination and sexual harassment claims
- Employment and anti-discrimination advice; and
- WorkChoices
Our client is ideally seeking an experienced Employment Partner who has a portable practice and at least 8 years PQE. You will also possess an excellent academic record, exceptional communication, drafting and organisational abilities, as well as sound client building and management techniques. Your impressive experience gained from a leading practice will see you go far with this role!
