Our client has a dynamic employment team who are seeking a passionate employment lawyer with approximately 3 to 5 years post qualification experience and a background in Employment Law.
Working with a team of accomplished and well respected professionals, you will be involved in cutting edge workplace, employee relations work and associated issues such as dispute resolution, risk management and a range of advisory work for blue chip clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Extensive client liaison;
- Analysing legal implications of a matter;
- Advice work on a range of complex industrial and workplace issues;
- Negotiating, drafting and interpreting a range of employment agreements, independent contractor agreements and industrial instruments;
- Facilitating the litigation process;
- Instructing and appearing ????? ????? State and Federal Commissions and Courts;
- Defending clients in OHS prosecutions and in discrimination claims; and
- File management.
To flourish in this role you must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and have a solid legal and academic background. A passion for this type of work will be taken as a given, as will your excellent interpersonal skills and sharp attention to detail.
