The firms competition team has specialist experience and expertise working with key regulators, government, and large corporations. They have a reputation in the industry for acting for large, complex and high profile trade practices matters and they have also worked in some of the most highly regulated industries.
As the newest member to the practice, the successful candidate will report directly to a highly skilled Partner of the firm on a wide array of challenging and interesting Competition law matters for a varied clientele. The team which you will join specialises in the areas of:
- M&As / JV's
- ACCC processes
- Predatory pricing and misuse of market power
- Exclusive dealing and third-line forcing
- Resale Price Maintenance
- Distribution arrangements
- Market definition and concentration analysis
- Private antitrust actions
- Collusive cartel arrangements
Our client ideally requires the successful candidate to possess at least 5 years PQE in competition law; excellent leadership capabilities; solid drafting and communication skills, strong academics, the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, as well as a proven team approach.
