Our client is a large national firm rated in the top 25 law firms by revenue in the BRW, as well as being recommended by the Legal 500 for it's expertise in the corporate law sphere.
The firms Corporate practice is currently in need of an experienced Corporate Lawyer who is ready to take the next step in their legal career and play a pivotal role in their successful Sydney practice.
As the newest member to the firms busy corporate practice which comprises of three Partners and five Junior Lawyers, the successful candidate will be involved in a broad spectrum of challenging and interesting corporate matters, specifically pertaining to private equity and merger and acquisition deals. The team which you will join is noted for providing innovative advice to public and private companies, institutions, investors, governments and businesses of all sizes. Your sound leadership attributes will see you go far in this role as you will be required to work with minimal supervision; as well as supervise some of the juniors in your team.
In order to be considered for this role, the successful candidate will ideally possess
- Between 4-6 years PQE gained from a good mid-tier firm or leading boutique practice
- The ability to run matters from start to finish
- Strong communication and drafting skills
- The ability to work well autonomously
- Commercial acumen
- Solid client service and relationship skills, and
- Leadership attributes
