Hays Information Technology has enjoyed a relationship with this client for some time and has partnered with it extensively to source talented IT professionals. Due to continued expansion a new, permanent role for a Senior Tester / Lead has been made available for a dynamic, passionate individual to join this company's Sydney head-office. The Senior Tester / Lead will be tasked with developing formal testing procedures and policies and managing all testing activities being carried out.


The role will entail the following:

• Taking ownership and management of the testing space across the development teams
• Establish process and procedures
• Setting up automated tests for the website
• Creating test cases for existing and new functionality
• Functional, Integration, Acceptance and Systems Testing


Key skills and requirements include:

• Proven track record working across high traffic consumer websites is essential
• Exposure to the Online, Web Hosting, Digital Media or similar industry
• Senior level experience in web oriented testing processes using a combination of manual and automated testing
• Extensive web application testing experience (ASP.NET/C# environment) for all major Internet browsers
• Extensive experience with Web testing tools. Preferably Microsoft ASP.Net oriented products
• Extensive experience in the creation of test cases
• Extensive experience in the testing of high volume websites
