My client is a large, reputable and highly regarded company.
This role designs applications for Web Content Management Systems. It defines best practices in the configuring ????? ????? development of the application, including evaluation and selection of development methods, development processes, best practices and tools. The System Architect is responsible for applications-related quality, performance, availability, scalability and integrity, and is also responsible for the functional interface to applications and for ensuring ????? ?????.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to team members and the client across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements, including:
- Scope definition
- Requirements analysis
- Functional and technical design
- Application build
- Product configuration
- Match client requirements to the functional specifications
- Identify any risks associated with the project phases
- Lead design reviews with both client business users and client IT teams
- Mentor all team members on assigned project tasks
- Provide business and technical expertise on the approach of the project
- Assist in creating test scenarios
- Assist in user's training documentation
- Unit testing
- UAT and production deployment
Skills:
- 5+ years experience in designing and architecting a solution
- Advanced knowledge of WCMS (such as Reddot, Fatwire, Stellant etc), Document Management, Workflow and customising of portals
- Solid understanding of n-tier architecture
- Understanding of large-scale applications development
- Familiar with both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Solid Java based web/portal development (JSP, servlets, spring, XML, JSF)
- Good understanding of Web Services and Enterprise Services Architecture
- Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with digital asset management
