Due to the acquisition of new projects, this Sydney client is currently looking for C++ Software Engineers to work on advanced audio/video conferencing products. The successful C++ Software Engineer will be involved in the design and implementation of video bandwidth management for both the SIP and H.323 implmentation.
This position requires detailed knowledge of H.323, SIP call ????? ????? stack architecture, including SIP requests, responses, headers, transactions and dialogs. This position also requires participation in all phases of the software development life cycle, including gathering ????? ?????, writing functional specifications, design, coding, debugging, testing and documentation. The development environment is C++ (C to a lesser extent) under various Linux environments including Nucleus and VxWorks. Other responsibilities include automated testing used to measure network peformance.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Computer Science or relevant Engineering ????? ?????
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Good understanding of H.323 and SIP networking protocols (other complex networking protocols also considered)
- Strong interest in Linux and open source development
- Permanent resident or Australian Citizenship
Although not necessary, prior experience with using STL templates and Boost libraries will be highly advantageous.
