Senior J2EE Developer

My client is part of a Global Group of Companies and due to considerable growth they are seeking a Senior J2EE Developer to join their dynamic team of 6 developers. This newly created role has come about due to the sheer volume of exciting new projects my client has in its pipeline, these projects require someone who can be flexible to work on not only JAVA projects but some .Net and Opensource projects also.
 
 
Key skills required: 

• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications with accreditation  
  
• 5 years + Enterprise Application experience - strong design in all J2EE, however .Net experience is also highly regarded and desirable  
  
• Strong Database experience - Oracle/SQL Server  
  
• Experience with Tomcat / Websphere is preferable, weblogic will be looked at also  
  
• Struts /JSP/EJB is also desirable  
  
• Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written.  
  

 
This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate who will work alongside like minded individuals. There are a number of projects (predominantly in professional software development) in the pipeline, hence the reason this role has been created. It is vital that the successful candidate is a self starter who will be open to working with different technologies at times. There is parking on site for employees.
