An exciting opportunity now exists to join their Maximo sales team with responsibility for both new business sales and sales to our customer base in NSW and ACT.

    The opportunity

    This role will appeal to an experienced sales person who understands the importance of reference selling from an impressive base of successful and satisfied blue chip customers in Australia and globally. The customer base in Australia includes a number of tier 1 organisations across a range of industries.

    As a Sales Specialist, you will work with customers as part of the IBM Maximo team and will broaden the use of Maximo products within our existing customer base and drive new business sales in the defined territory. The sweet spot for Maximo is clearly in industries with a heavy investment in asset infrastructure including utilities, transportation, manufacturing, facilities and oil and gas production.

    The role will be of interest to sales professionals who have deep experience in selling Enterprise Business Applications and complex solutions using a strategic selling methodology to close business at the C level. A track record of sales success is essential for consideration for this role.


    Skills and experience required

    • A strong track record in selling Enterprise applications and/or complex solutions
    • Previous success using Strategic Selling methodology to close business at the C-Level
    • A hunter mentality with verifiable track record of consistently exceeding quotas
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
