Senior Java Developer

 

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Brisbane's premier Java sites. This is a contract role based in Brisbane's CBD working within a project team.   
   
While this role is looking for a Senior Developer, top junior-mid level developers would also be considered.   
   
The role will involve cutting edge development and project focused work. This role requires strong Java enterprise development skills teamed with experience within a structured well-disciplined development team.   
   
The successful candidate will have 5+ years experience as a Java Developer teamed with solid and proven J2EE development experience. Skills within the following technologies are highly desired:   

• Spring ????? ????? (IOC & MVC)  
  
• Ibatis or Hibernate ORM  
  
• Spring ????? ????? JSF  
  
• Junit  
  
• HTML, Javascript and CSS  
  

In addition, you will have good technical writting skills, a pragmatic approach to design and development, strong object orientated design skills and appreciation of SOA and component/service based development.   
   
It will be ideal for you to have experience / exposure to the following technologies   

• Agile  
  
• Oracle database  
  
• Ajax  
  
• Eclipse IDE  
  
• Maven 2
