Excellent opportunity to join a market leading Security Company based in the north of Sydney. My client is experiencing growth all the time and requires a talented senior software engineer to come in and help a team complete a large project.

The Senior Software Engineer that I am looking for will have at least 10 years of experience using C and related technologies. The right person would also have very strong UNIX skills and experience using Stratus VOS.
Other essential skills for the role include: A solid IT degree, multi - threading and deadlock avoidance mechanisms experience, have strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent problem solving skills, extensive experience using continuous build systems, a good understanding of the software change management process and have strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Some of the main responsibilities include:

•     Design software to meet product requirement.
•     Build and release software at regular intervals.
•     Maintain a working knowledge of security related technologies, security vulnerabilities and secure programming techniques.
•     Work efficiently in a small team environment and help mentor junior engineers.
•     Maintain an expert working knowledge of the C programming language.
