Our client is a leading wealth management company and they are now looking for a talented Service Desk Team Leader. Located conveniently in the CBD, this role will require you to lead and coach a financial planning specialist team to achieve service targets and continuously improve services. Working in a niche team, our client can offer excellent opportunities for career progression, as well as a rewarding working environment with very low staff turnover.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Perform team leader activities such as goal setting, career development planning, performance assessments and workforce scheduling
- Provide customer support service and incident management
- Co-ordinate and execute training sessions around subject expertise, while being a coach for team members
- Monitor and review individual and team performance
- Manage and maintain team work load to maintain agreed SLA's
- Lead special projects when required
- Set, monitors and improves quality standards, monitors service stats, trends and makes recommendations for proactive improvements to service
You will bring ????? ????? role :
- Demonstrated experience in small project management ie implementing small initiatives
- Proven experience managing and developing a team with specialised skills and capabilities
- 3+ years working in a leadership role with an operations function, in a financial service organisation with financial planning experience highly preferred
- Proven experience leading a Service Desk environment;
- Experience in supporting cultural and organisational change
- High level expertise in incident, problem, change and knowledge management
- In depth understanding of IT application management
- Knowledge of insurance/finance industry, in particular Financial Planning, with your DOS being desirable
