Our client is a Leading Financial Institution and they are looking for an Experienced Websphere Administrator who has worked on version 6.0 or above to join their team! This role will require candidates to use their skills and experience to coach and train less experienced staff.
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Around 5 years experience working with Websphere / Portal Administrator version 6.0 and above
- The ability to perform diagnostic analysis and tune the environment ( both at the Websphere Application Server layer and the Websphere Portal Server layer )
- The ability to analyse runtime logs and dumps (heap/thread dumps, GC logs, etc.) as part of tuning and problem determination
- To provide coaching and training to less experienced people
- Experience in complex clustered environments
- Websphere knowledge in the IBM Mainframe and Unix environments
- Infrastructure background is a plus!!
- Application development background using Java is preferred
