An exciting opportunity has become available for a Team Leader to join the Product Systems team within the Customer Solutions Business Unit.

Through a mixture of people management, risk management, stakeholder management and project management skills the Team Leader – Product Systems will be responsible for increased IT resource development and efficiency, increased estimate accuracy and solution delivery, improved staff engagement and customer satisfaction.

More specifically your role will include:

  • The successful IT resource management and risk mitigation for projects within the Development and Support team;
  • Day-to-day management of the application development staff in their team;
  • Identifying changes within IT development effectiveness and efficiency and implementing those approved by management;
  • Ensure the team work collectively with Application Support, Business Engagement and Architecture Teams

To be considered for this excellent opportunity you will need to have a minimum of 5 years experience working within IT along with a proven track record in application development and / or project management.  You will have a solid understanding of the IT Development Lifecycle with an understanding of the business impact of technology and the essential needs of end users.

You will need to show that you have managed teams of at least 5 people and have a natural affinity for managing people in teams and have relevant tertiary qualifications.  It is also important that you have the ability to communicate, develop relationships with and influence internal and external stakeholders.
