One of Australia's most Prestigious Banks are seeking a Delivery Manager to join a team of professionals with a proven successful track record of delivery of various launches of projects across the banking group,
This team is responsible for delivery of reporting technology and operational excellence in a highly mature and complex environment.
The focus of the role is the launch of numerous projects and the management of the delivery of capabilities across various Business intelligence and Reporting lines
This business critical role is a mix of Delivery, Vendor Management, Support Maintenance, People Management (up to 50 project dependent), Business Reporting and Operations.
With a large element of internal communication to technology heads and user groups, as well as external communication with 3rd party Vendors, the role will involve various workshops and forums to stream line the launch process.
The position requires the incumbent to have strong range of applications experience, excellent knowledge of Financial Markets inclusive of a strong BI/Reporting/SDLC and be capable of managing people in an environment that requires flexibility, problem solving, delegation and strong project management
Requirements:
- Competency with SAS, Cognos and Informatica design and development including ETL, analytics and reporting
- Experience in multiple SDLC's and ability to apply delivery disciplines in a thoughtful and pragmatic manner
- Realisation of complex ETL designs for multiplatform environments
- Cognos , Enterprise SAS and Informatica technologies
- Enterprise scale data warehousing environments
- Strong Project Management background 5 yrs + with a focus on delivery
- Ability to show leadership & direction
- Strong relationship & stakeholder management skills
- Financial services/Retail Banking experience highly favoured
- Sound communication skills
- Professional presentation skills
