Senior Network Designer/ Architects - x 2 - Sydney -- 6 Month Contract- will extend

There are two Senior Network Designer/ Architects positions both will involve similar skills however both are will be focused on two different key projects within the organisation.

Both positions are very high profile roles within a Global organization and will involve dealing with many high level PMs thus it is vital that the candidate is comfortable working in a large Enterprise type organizations, managing expectations and large projects.


Skills:
Very experienced with producing detailed documentation
Understand Technology (particularly Cisco) and know how to implement it
Experienced in Project Governance
Routing and Switching
Juniper
Experienced in how to actually come up with designs and assess them against different options

Bonus Skills:
Security (Cisco, Checkpoint)
Finance Experience



High Level Solution Design for the technology component of projects, including the identification of opportunities for re-use across multiple programs and initiatives and from previous solution designs, and identification and mitigation of any solution design issues or risks

Provide feedback on effectiveness of the target solution architecture, including any comments that impact or change the target solution architecture and standards.
Advise on approach to solution design and recommend alternative approaches where required.

Work a variety of High Level Project Managers, Stakeholders and Vendors to establish and maintain productive relationships by articulating deliverables, the solution design benefits, constraints of the implementation environment and rationale for technical architecture adherence.

Ensure traceability from business risk requirements through architectures and designs and into deployed solutions via precise and detailed documentation (i.e. 30-40 page documents).
