Are you a skilled and experienced Data Centre Specialist with strong Network and systems management skills looking to join a professional, and collaborative critical infrastructure operations support team?

An 18-month contract role is available in Infastructure Services group at the Reserve Bank of Australia’s newly refurbished, state-of-the-art Data Centre.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating system and batch operations management
  • Developing and maintaining enterprise systems management tools such as:

                -  CA Spectrum & eHealth

                -  Automation and enterprise scheduling products

                -  Enterprise backups

  • Providing first/second level support for Bank managed systems and services
  • Monitoring ????? ?????, applications and backup systems
  • Contributing to the design and ongoing operation of enterprise-wide infrastructure management systems, automation, and scheduling products

Your experience will combine employment in medium or large scale operational environments  knowledge of MVS operating systems and IBM/compatible mainframe operations, with an emphasis on effective fault resolution.

You will have either obtained (or partially completed) a formal qualification in an IT discipline, and your time management, written and verbal communication skills will be well-developed.

Experience in an integrated and advanced operations area, supporting scheduling, communications and network infrastructure and/or operating systems will be highly regarded.
