Support Engineer - Great working environment
One of my major clients is currently looking to hire a full time Infrastructure Support Engineer to join the Support team.
My client is a famous financial organisation based in the CBD. You will be responsible to provide first and second level support for all users within the organisation. This position will require strong IT Infrastructure knowledge specifically in the support and administration of the Desktop SOE, production servers, network, backup capabilities and PABX. This role will also require strong analytical, troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Providing operational support including desktops (Windows XP), Servers (Windows Server 2003⁄ 2007) and the Cisco based network
- Support a Exchange 2007 environment
- Support the network connectivity
- Provide 24 by 7 support to resolve critical network and infrastructure issues as required to ensure that the business can function during normal business hours
- Provide documentation and inventory collection of the network and infrastructure
- Support of Avaya PABX
- Ensure the Disaster Recovery capabilities are adequate to meet the expectations of the business in the event of a disaster.

For that position you will need to have strong knowledge in:
- Proven experience supporting users in Windows Environment
- Be an expert with SOE deployment
- Able to work in a high pressured environment
- Excellent knowledge in IT backup and restore
- IT Infrastructure management
- Citrix Management knowledge
- PABX knowledge preferably Avaya
