Our Client is a leader in the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Industry and maintains a prime network of ATM's and EFTPOS terminals throughout Australia and the sub continent.
Due to continued growth and success they are seeking to appoint an IT professional to support their network of ATMs and EFTPOS terminals both domestically and overseas. This is a pivotal role that will work closely with the Help Desk, Technicians and external communications providers to ensure the smooth running of the network.
As the ATM / EFTPOS Support your role offers both variety and challenge as you seek to continuously improve the communication set up between ATM / EFTPOS all the way through to designated Financial Institutions.
From new installations to reallocations to setting up modems, dealing with communication break downs through Telstra and tracking new technology solutions your role will provide you with an opportunity to introduce leading edge solutions to the EFT sector.
Due to the technical nature of the role it is envisaged the successful candidate will have experience in some, if not all of the following:
- SQL
- VB, C++, C development
- ATM/EFTPOS hardware and software support
- Crystal Reports
As a key member of a small team you will be expected to accept challenges outside your normal range of duties and will be willing to work out of hours or overseas from time to time. Ideally you will have exposure to ATM or EFTPOS systems but most importantly you will display the drive and inititive to develop your skills in this supportive environement.
The role requires constant communication to both internal and external suppliers so candidates need to display excellent written and oral skills.
