Core Network Engineer- CDMA/GSM/UTMS/ 12 month contract/ $$$ neg

12 month contract - immediate start

Chatswood location

We are seeking a Core Network Engineer for a 12 month contract within this telecommunications solutions provider. You will perform post-sales project implementation and technical support for GSM/CDMA/3G core network equipment such as on-site survey, installation, commissioning and maintenance.

Some key responsibilities for the Network Engineer role include:

Provide post-sales technical support to customers through remote and on-site trouble-shooting.

Provide technical solution and hands-on support on GSM/CDMA/UMTS core network.

Support test activities of operator acceptance testing

Carry out all necessary technical meetings pertaining to operators, internal Mobile phone staff or its associated customers.

Report any quality issue in after sales

Co-ordinate active product test (software and hardware) and report QE (quality evaluation) test result in time to support R/D team to develop product efficiently in time.

Main Requirements:

Bachelor degree or above majoring ????? ?????, Electronics, Electrical, or related area.

Hands-on skill and knowledge on GSM/GPRS/CDMA network engineering.

Able to work well in a fast-paced changing environment.

Experience in pre/post-launch optimization and network improvements for core network (HSDPA HSUPA GPRS/EDGE)

Experience with network swap

Demonstrate technical knowledge of the WCDMA, UMTS and GSM mobile technology and mobile operator's technical requirement.

Demonstrate knowledge of MMS/WAP/Streaming/Wireless internet services and device configurations.

Demonstrate knowledge of mobile content services and applications.

Demonstrate knowledge of HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA, HSPA+ and LTE of the local mobile phone operator networks.

You must have had several years experience within the local market for this role and a strong understanding of other telecommunications operators and vendors.
