SQL Server DBA

 

* 6 month contract  
* Project based and BAU Support  
* Large migrations SQL 2000 – SQL 2005  
  
  
Due to the increase of work load this global organisation is now looking to compliment their strong Database team with two solid SQL Server DBA's. Supporting other aspects of the business there is a strong focus on efficiency and quality of the delivery. It is a great opportunity to get into a dynamic team and build on your DBA skills.  
  
You will be able to utilize the following:  
  
* 5+ years solid SQL Server DBA experience.  
  
* Full production support and Project based DBA work  
  
* Windows Server Management  
  
The responsibilities are:  

* Install and configure database systems, patches and upgrades.   

* Managing development, testing and production database environments.   

* Performing backup and recovery on corporate databases.   

* Providing production support   

* Involving in Disaster Recover planning and execution   

* Troubleshooting database related issues   

* Performance monitoring ????? ????? tuning
