My client is an international marketing organisation that is looking for a vibrant and switched on professional to join their team. Working within their database services team you will be responsible for projects improving their client's existing system, and the delivery of components of the new database services.

On a daily basis, your activities will include:

• Gathering ????? ????? from key users and stakeholders
• Creating detailed functional specifications
• Covert logical design into complex databases
• Query tuning and optimization
• Designing innovative solutions and improvements
• You will also provide clients with marketing reports, review current strategies, recommend action plans and analyze results.

To be considered for this role you must have:

• Minimum 5 year SQL Server database administration ⁄ development experience is essential.
• Strong working experience in SSIS⁄SSRS⁄SSAS
• You must have a proactive attitude and be able to take ownership of your projects.
• You will ideally have worked on small to medium sized projects where you exemplified your project management skills.
• You will be expected to meet deadlines, prioritise your workload and always deliver high quality results.
• The ability to communicate at all levels within a corporate environment from end user up to CEO is crucial in this role.
