My client is seeking a talented IT professional to facilitate in the development of the company's database. SQL Server, T/SQL Stored Procedures and Triggers

Key Accountabilities:

Implementation and development of agreed database development

Implement the database components including database engine support, troubleshooting, and documentation

Support, as required, the helpdesk with reporting, issue resolution, and other support as required

Data integration scripting

Database and schema enhancement

Knowledge and Experience for Role:

SQL Server 2005 experience in high use production environments (usually banking or finance to get the volume of users and transactions, but open to whichever industry)

Develop and maintain complex TSQL stored procedures and functions

Mention of indexes, performance tuning or SQL Profiler

Unit testing

Deployment scrips

Any other tools they might use (eg RedGate, Apex)

General programming (C#, VB, vbscript) is always useful since it shows thinking beyond databases
