My client is a global giant, a market leading end-user with an extremely solid base & prospects for the forthcoming years. With an exciting JD Enterprise 1  implementations/upgrades in the offing & a whole raft of other business process improvement projects on the go as well as regular BAU work they have an immediate need for an experienced JD Edwards professional with experience of JDE Enterprise 1( Financials, Procurement, Job Costing and Forecasting, Subcontracting, Plant and Equipment and HR/Payroll)
 
I am looking for candidates who possess first class written and verbal communication skills & have a good solid functional understanding of the JDE Enterprise 1 product  with the ability to support the business in terms of utilising the application & helping to improve their business processes & help compound an ethos of continuous improvement within the business.

Any experience with the Stellent content management system would be useful.
 
In terms of role content you will be working in an Application team of 6 people with specific responsibility for being the Lead JDE Enterprise 1 Functional Consultant  so you can expect  a wide range of work. The ability to build strong working relationships with the buisness users is going to be key in this role as you look to cascade your knowledge into the business through training, user workshops & discussing their business processes. It is also desirable that candidates have experience of at least 2 JDE implementations as you will also play a key role in the project team for the implementation of new modules This is a high profile position within the organisation & the successful applicant will have the opportunity to improve business processes & the use of the JDE suite within the business and add clear value. I am looking for candidates who have strong problem solving skills, are able to overcome roadblocks & create workarounds to problems you may face in the role. So whilst the role does require process, methodologies & a rigourous approach I am also looking for creative thinkers.
