PL/SQL Analyst Programmer

An Australian organisation is seeking a PL/SQL Analyst Programmer to join their team ASAP! You will be involved in hands on technical design, build test and implementation duties. You must be able to work independently, design and build to high standards and solve complex problems. Your responsibilities will include: - Conduct performace analysis and tuning of existing extracts
- Analysis and design for functional and technical changes
- Coding, Unit & System Testing
- Implementation and post implementation support
- Problem analysis and resolution, defect resolution
- Development of / input to the development of coding standards
Ideally you will have: - Good planning and task management skills
- Technical skills are system development experience background in Oracle RDBMS (10G) & forms, Oracle Report Writer, PL/SQL and Unix scripting
- Any one of the following would be a plus but not mandatory: Java, Web Services, Cobol, WebSphere, Control-M, Connect Direct, Tibco, Tuxedo, MQ, C/C++, .Net, VB6
- Experience in complex production administration systems for superannuation and investment products would be highly regarded
- Relevant financial services industry experience advantageous
